EMPATHIC DISTRESS AND COMPASSION – with Shantam David Zohar
Febbraio 28, 2021 @ 10:00 – 12:30

EMPATHIC DISTRESS AND COMPASSION
Somatic resonance is inherent to human experience. While the relational impact of another’s suffering is natural, it may lead to a narrow, self-centered or pro-social, compassionate response. What makes the difference? Mindfulness practice may well birth the moment-to-moment attention to one’s underlying relational posture, freeing the individual to act with, rather than against, fellow humans.
