During our Retreat we are invited to reconnect to our Infinite Goodness and Brilliant Sanity. To rest in the inherent qualities of Spaciousness, Clarity and Compassion. To follow the deep river of goodness that flows through in and through us, connecting us to and nourished in the Benediction of Great Emptiness.
Date and venue
The Retreat will be held from Tuesday 14th of November at 4 pm to 11 am of Saturday 18th of November 2023 in Northern Italy in the lovely surroundings of Maguzzano Abbey on Lake Garda in Via Maguzzano 4, Lonato (BS).
The Abbey is less than 15 minutes drive from the train station of Desenzano, from which you can reach it with a local taxi (cost approx. 15 euros).
The closest international airport is Verona (about 35 minutes drive) or Bergamo Orio al Sorio (1 hour drive).
Cost
For the teachers and the translator Dana (donation) is to be left locally.
The fee for this Retreat is 120 € plus 25 € for the annual registration in the organization. Please understand that this fee covers only organizational expenses and it has to be paid at the moment of the enrollment.

The cost for room and board is 70 euros per night in single room with private bathroom or 60 euros per night in double room with private bathroom. It has to be paid locally.
Maura Sills is the Founder of Core Process Psychotherapy which offers an innovative psycho-spiritual approach to therapy. The Karuna Institute integrates western psychotherapeutic models with Buddhist psychology and mindfulness practices. Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Core Process Psychotherapy offers a depth understanding of what helps and hinders healing insight and transformation.
Maura is an Honorary Fellow of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and Director of Training at the Karuna Institute which offers Master Degree Programmes in Buddhist Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy along with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Retreat.
Cheryl Allen has practiced Kum Nye since she trained as Core Process psychotherapist over 35 years ago and she has taught Kum Nye retreats with Maura Sills for about 30 years. She has also taught on the Core Process psychotherapy training for over 20 years at the Karuna Institute. Kum Nye is close to her heart, she has found this practice to be deeply healing and transformational and she loves sharing it with other people.
